Michelle, Thank you for being so honest with your words. Thank you for this poem expressing what all of us feel at one time or another. You should really keep works like this to share with your students, because I believe students will relate to this.
Michelle, Thank you for sharing your poetry. I agree with Amy, in that, this piece would be a simple example to show your students how easy it can be to write poetry. I think students can get discouraged and fearful of poetry units; therefore, acrostic and free verse poems are a great tool to reduce their anxiety. Nice work! Sincerely, Nancy Best
